This website was born this way, and as you read it you're seeing the result. The method is worth telling, because it changes the time and cost of a site in a way that wasn't possible until recently.
From the person, not the template
I didn't start from the graphics. I started from the person: the values, the way of thinking, what I want to communicate and what I don't. From there I wrote a document — a plain text file — with the professional profile and CV. That file became the basis for everything.
From that profile I generated, one step at a time: a business plan, a marketing line, the brand identity with logo, fonts and colours. And only at the end, the site. Each piece is born consistent with the one before, because it comes from the same root.
We're talking hours
The most surprising part is time. Not months, not weeks, not days: hours. An AI with your documents in front of it builds the pages, writes the text, sets the structure in a fraction of the time of a traditional web build. Human work moves to where it matters — the decisions, the taste, the review — and is removed from where it doesn't.
Simpler under the hood too
Automating the creation of simple online services also saves in less visible ways.
- No paid database. A WordPress site, even a small one, still needs a database on Aruba: a fixed cost. Here the data sits in a simple file (a JSON) that acts as the database — no extra cost, nothing to configure.
- No backend to explain. There's no admin panel with a hundred menus to learn. There's the site, and there's the AI to talk to.
- Fewer parts, fewer things that break. A light site, made of a few files, is easier to understand, move and maintain over time.
The AI stays with the client
My favourite part: the AI doesn't leave when the site is done. It stays a tool in the hands of whoever owns the site. Want to change a text, add a page, publish an article? You describe it, and the AI does it — without touching the code.
Some processes are fully automated. For example the blog page you're reading: text and images are generated with the AI's help. The illustrations in these articles aren't perfect, and that's an honest choice: I generate them locally with Flux2 Klein 4B, one of the lightest models there is, at zero cost. I'd rather have an imperfect image that's mine and free than pay for one per article.
Who it's for
I'm not saying WordPress is obsolete: for many cases it's perfectly fine and I'm glad to build it. I'm saying that if you want a site that's fast, light, cheap to maintain and that you update by talking instead of clicking, today there's another way. It's the one I took for mine, and the one I can build for yours.
A website is no longer an object you deliver and abandon. It's a tool that stays alive, and that you can steer.
